ongoing intertwining relative reality

Series of series of series...

(Un)Structure(d Data)

Development happens not only in a linear way so it's impossible to order or structure within sharp borders. Every attempt in that direction ends up in a self-destructive structure. As each captured state evolves into another, simultaneously and multidirectional, like a ripple. Even though the creations within the 'Digital gardening' project are not organised in a predefined manner, using preset options, we can only decide how minimal or drastic a certain change is. Experience makes it more and more easy to direct, but only within this preset structure.

This series are built within the strategic ambiguity of a flexible 'shapeless form' and each 'plausible outcome' is added to exist in the series. And each manifestation within the series contains certain relational aspects. If placed within a 'Shared Context', it can be understood from that point of view. But there are endless possible contexts. It's impossible to take them all into account so every order or storyboard is limited to choice. Whether they are human or algorithm based. The uncertainty that there is no beginning and no end, welcomes even more external influence to enter the process. And with that it's open for development in any direction. The material coming from the process is created with (predetermined) effects of applications that transform the input into new images. The process incorporates 'coincidence', results unguided by mind, immediately setting free a new 'set of choices'. And with that strategies for action.

What does that information mean? Eventually it starts with chaos and it ends with chaos. But it's interesting to see how these fragments that influence and shape life result in related context that goes beyond what was initially meant to be communicated and reflects aspects todays life and the way we influence and pass on cultural aspects, mostly fed by commercial interests. And how our desires become shaped by that.

Picking out this negative input, placing it under attention and transform it into malleable material is a symbolic act of crushing the existing structures holding us hostage.
